Starting July 1, 2023, Supply Wisdom will authenticate users using Single sign-on (SSO). SSO simplifies login by eliminating the need to remember yet another password. Instead, SSO allows you to access Supply Wisdom through your corporate authentication system, enhancing enterprise security.

If you are logging in using SSO for the first time, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the Supply Wisdom application at: https://app.supplywisdom.com/login. If you are logged in to Supply Wisdom already, manually log out and clear the cookies on your browser to prompt SSO.
  2. Click Sign-In to be re-directed to the SSO page.
  3. In the Username field, enter the email address that is connected with Supply Wisdom and click Continue.
  4. You will be directed to your corporate identity and authentication provider (Microsoft, Okta, Azure AD, Google Cloud Identity, etc.).
  5. Enter your corporate email address and password for authentication.
  6. If your authentication is successful and you have access to Supply Wisdom, you will be automatically redirected to the Supply Wisdom application.

Note: If you use an email address associated with a distribution list or group that does not have its own password, you will not be able to authenticate using SSO. In that case, use the Forgot Password option to reset and continue with a new password.

Starting July 1, 2023, Supply Wisdom has introduced a new live dashboard on Location Analytics designed to provide an overview of your location targets’ risk scores and ratings based on targets, risk domains, and user types. If you subscribe to country or city targets, you will see the new live dashboard. To access the live dashboard, Click Location Analytics from the dropdown.

The Location Analytics live dashboard provides an overview of risk ratings of your subscribed locations and third parties operating from those locations. The dashboard includes widgets for the overall portfolio ratings, risk concentration heat map, and location portfolio risk trends over time. You can also configure Auto Actions for indicator widgets in the dashboard.

Filters

The dashboard can be filtered by Targets, Hierarchy level (Domains, Sub Domains, and Metrics), and Types of Domains. Users can further drill down using additional filters such as parameters, subscription tiers, etc.

Contact your client champion or customer success manager for more information about and training on the live dashboards.

Note: There are several other live dashboards that Supply Wisdom can build for diverse use cases, such as weekly or monthly portfolio analytics, domain-level dashboards, etc. Your customer success manager can advise you about timelines and costs.

Design Your Own Dashboard

Apart from the existing live dashboards, Supply Wisdom now allows you to design your own dashboards.

Note: This is a premium add-on to your existing Supply Wisdom subscription.

  1. Go to Dashboard Settings > Design Your Own Dashboard
  2. Click+ to begin creating your own dashboards using Supply Wisdom data sources and advanced visualization options, such as predesigned widgets, types, and skins, and publish them.

Dashboards can only use available Supply Wisdom data sources. This is based on your subscription portfolio. Create the dashboard based on your preferred parameters, subscription tiers, labels, targets, and facts with appropriate visualization options.  Additionally, Filter options are available to present data at a more granular level. You can share the newly designed dashboard with a user or group of users.  The newly created dashboard can be accessed from Dashboard Settings > Dashboards.

The dashboards you design grant you expanded Auto Actions capabilities:

  • You can set the Auto Action feature to trigger notifications for other users.
  • Configure an Auto Action feature for any widget or metric based on your needs.

Contact your client champion or customer success manager for more information about the premium add-on required to create your own live dashboards.

AUTO ACTIONS

Starting July 1, 2023, Supply Wisdom’s “Auto Actions” feature will be available to all customers. Auto Actions enables users to establish alert notifications for a personal receipt whenever configurable thresholds are met or anomalies in their data are detected.

Auto Actions allows users to set a threshold condition for existing widgets on their new dashboard, and configure notifications to be received through email, Slack, or any third-party application through webhooks.

  • Users can set threshold conditions to risk ratings, or an alert based on label, severity, metric, risk domain, subdomain, tier, third party, or country.
  • Notifications can only be set and triggered to default widgets created by Supply Wisdom. Users can set up notifications to be delivered to themselves.

Note: Users can get expanded Auto Actions capabilities with a premium add-on to their Supply Wisdom subscription. Contact your client champion or write to us for more information.

Alert Conditions

  • Threshold: The system notifies the user whenever the value reaches the set threshold condition.
  • Automatic: The system will monitor this value and notify the user when anomalies are detected.
  • Always: The system notifies the user after each build, regardless of a change in the data.

Alert Notification Channels

After the alert condition is set, the user needs to set a notification channel to receive alerts. Auto Action supports a variety of notification channels such as:

  • Email: By Default, users can receive notifications via email to themselves.
  • Slack: Users can receive notifications on Slack by adding a Slack account URL to the Auto Actions. You can also route notifications to specific Slack channels.
  • Webhook: Users can send notifications to any application or 3rd party service by selecting a Webhook and entering the Webhook name and URL in the respective fields.

Note: Mobile notification is not supported.

Note: Configuring Auto Actions notifications to multiple users requires a premium add-on. Contact your client champion or write to us for more information.

How To Configure Auto Actions

  1. From a live dashboard, Click > Add to Pulse on any widget enabled with the Pulse feature. All indicator widgets can trigger Auto Actions.
  2. Define the Threshold. This example illustrates the user setting Always, where the Auto Action will be triggered if the portfolio composite risk rating changes.
  3. Click “Advanced”. Click the Notification icon for setting the personalized notification message and selecting the channels on which you wish to receive the notifications.
  4. Click “Add” to create the Auto Action.

How to Manage Auto Actions

  1. Click Dashboard Settings > Pulse to manage and edit previously created Auto Actions.
  2. Click “=” on the widget to edit, create, delete, or turn off specific Auto Actions.

Note: Contact your client champion or customer success manager for more information about and training in Auto Actions.
